Fixing Microsoft Edge not being able to access the StarAid web app

The Microsoft Edge browser strictly follows the Windows Internet Properties settings. On most Windows 10 devices, the security settings are very conservative, preventing you from accessing local devices directly. This page provides instructions to enable accessing local devices directly.

Step-by-step guide:

1. In Windows 10, navigate to Control Panel → Internet Options → Security → Local Intranet → Sites.

2. Uncheck include all local (intranet) sites not listed in other zones.

3. Uncheck Include all sites that bypass the proxy server.

4. Accept all the settings by clicking OK.

5. Open Microsoft Edge, and navigate to the StarAid web app on:
   http://169.254.54.1/ (via USB), or
   http://192.168.55.1/ (via WiFi).
